Subject:
This notice provides information on Thenomba's use of artificial intelligence tools in the creation of its content, as well as the human oversight guarantees applied prior to its publication.
Use of artificial intelligence in our content:
Thenomba employs artificial intelligence tools as support during specific phases of its editorial and production work. Specifically, they may be used for:
Documentation, preliminary research, and drafting.
Proofreading, editing, summarizing, and translating texts.
Generating or editing images, audio, and audiovisual content.
Data analysis and support for internal organizational tasks.
The use of these tools is always instrumental. Under no circumstances does it replace the judgment, selection, or responsibility of the individuals who make up Thenomba.
Editorial review and responsibility:
All content published on the Website, regardless of the tools used in its preparation, is subjected to human review and editorial control prior to its publication.
The editorial responsibility for the published content lies with Francisco Javier Roca Ibáñez, on behalf of THE NOMBA PROJECT SL, who is responsible for its accuracy, adequacy, and compliance with the editorial line of Thenomba.
Audiovisual content generated or manipulated with AI:
When Thenomba publishes images, audio, or video generated or manipulated with artificial intelligence that could be indistinguishable from real content, this circumstance will be indicated clearly and visibly on or alongside the piece itself.
This warning also applies when the persons appearing in the scene do not exist in reality, provided their representation is realistic. Manifestly unrealistic representations, as well as illustrations, diagrams, and compositions that no viewer would mistake for a capture of reality, are excluded.
This indication shall be made in a manner that does not hinder the enjoyment of the work when dealing with content of a creative, artistic, or fictional nature.
How we designate this content:
In the images that illustrate articles and publications, through a visible note next to the image itself.
In video, through a noticeable warning from the very first moment of viewing: a label next to the player on Thenomba's own websites, and a mention in the header of the description, along with the AI-generated content tag provided by the platform, when the broadcast is made on third-party services.
In audio, through a mention at the beginning of the track or in the text that accompanies it.
For these purposes, Thenomba may use the labeling icons published by the European Commission, the use of which is voluntary, without altering the scope of the information provided.
Temporal scope of the signaling:
The transparency obligations of Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 are applicable from August 2, 2026, and are not retroactive.
Consequently, content generated prior to that date may be published without the signaling described in this notice, even if it remains accessible. Thenomba will identify them likewise whenever it is proportionate to do so, without any obligation to review its entire archive.
Conversational systems:
When Thenomba provides users with assistants or systems that interact directly with them through conversation, they will be informed that the interaction is occurring with an artificial intelligence system prior to its initiation or in the first message.
Marking and traceability:
The artificial intelligence tools used by Thenomba may incorporate machine-readable provenance markings or metadata into the content they generate.
Thenomba does not deliberately remove, alter, or obscure such markings.
However, these markings may be lost due to technical reasons beyond Thenomba's control, such as file recompression by third-party platforms; therefore, the information provided under this notice does not depend on their preservation.
Thenomba takes as a reference the Code of Practice on transparency of content generated by artificial intelligence published by the European Commission, as well as its implementation guidelines, compliance with which is voluntary.
Training of the participating personnel:
Thenomba ensures that the persons who employ these tools on its behalf possess sufficient training regarding their operation, limitations, and the risks associated with their use, in accordance with Article 4 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689.
Usage limits:
Thenomba undertakes not to use artificial intelligence to:
Impersonate the identity, voice, or image of real people without their consent.
Publish data, figures, quotes, or attributions that have not been verified.
Adopt automated decisions that produce legal effects on users or similarly affect them significantly.
Process personal data of users for purposes other than those specified in the Privacy Policy.
Inquiries and corrections:
Any user may request information regarding the use of artificial intelligence in specific content, or report a potential error, by writing to hello@thenomba.com. Received communications will be addressed and, where applicable, the content will be corrected or removed.
Modifications to this notice:
