Juan Arana Cañedo-Argüelles (San Adrián, Navarre, 1950) is a Professor of Philosophy at the University of Seville and a Full Member of the Royal Academy of Moral and Political Sciences. Holding a PhD in Philosophy since 1978, he has been a visiting professor at universities worldwide—including Paris-Sorbonne, Münster, Buenos Aires, Lima, and Mexico City—and a fellow of the Humboldt Foundation in Germany. Founder and director of the journal Naturaleza y Libertad, he is one of the most renowned Spanish thinkers in the dialogue between science, philosophy, and faith.
