who is
Marcelo Gullo
?

Marcelo Gullo (Rosario, 1963) holds a PhD in Political Science from the Universidad del Salvador and a master's degree in International Relations from the University of Geneva. He was a disciple of Helio Jaguaribe and Alberto Methol Ferré, two of the greatest Latin American thinkers of the 20th century. A professor and researcher, Gullo has developed his own theory —foundational insubordination— which explains how nations only achieve real independence when they intellectually rebel against the ideas imposed by centers of power. Author of Madre Patria, Nada por lo que pedir perdón, and Lepanto: cuando España salvó a Europa, he invites us to look at history without complexes and to reclaim our Hispanic heritage. At TheNomba, he helps us discover the relationship between history, power, and freedom.
