501(C)(3) IN FORMATION

Rehuman Institute

Putting the human person back at the centre of culture, education, work and society.

This is what an idea looks like when it lands.

Rehuman Institute

01 / Where this comes from

Madrid, 2020. Seven people.

No funding, no brand, no plan. Seven people who thought their generation deserved better rooms than the ones on offer, and started organizing them.

What it became, one

The largest youth cultural movement in the Spanish-speaking world.

What it became, two

The largest humanist school in the Spanish-speaking world.

Rehuman Institute

02 / Two projects, one team

Two separate projects, born from the same team.

They are not two brands of one product. They do different things, for different people, and either one works without the other.

THE MOVEMENT

It’s Time to Think

A youth cultural movement. Rooms in a city, one night at a time: a talk on a timer, an argument, dinner, and friendships that outlast the evening. Free, local, volunteer-run.

600+ events · 800+ volunteers · 60 cities

THE SCHOOL

A humanist digital school. A two-year journey through the humanities, fifteen minutes a day, with its own platform, production and mentors. Paid, structured, measured.

+200 video classes · +200 intellectuals · +40K formed

One happens in a room. The other happens on a phone.

What we are building in America is an institution of its own — with its own life, its own name and its own leadership — and one of the things it will do is implant both projects here.

Rehuman Institute

03 / Why a new institution

One of the founders moved here a year ago. It started growing on its own.

We are not exporting a Spanish brand. We want to build the same model in the United States with a new institution and a new name — one that is 100% American, that Americans feel is theirs, and that grows locally.

01

A network on day one

Direct connection to our Hispanic community: +200 intellectuals and +40,000 young people.

02

The method, to make their own

Everything we’ve built in six years, handed over to be adapted rather than translated.

03

The technology

Full access to Thenomba’s platforms — built to make thinking a daily habit.

Rehuman Institute

04 / The technology

Nothing here is rented.

Thenomba is not a course catalogue on somebody else’s software. It is our own platform, our own studio and our own network, built for one purpose: to fold humanist formation into an ordinary working day.

Platform and app

Built for a two-year journey, not a course list. Fifteen minutes a day happens on a phone or it doesn’t happen.

Courses shaped as journeys

Not modules. Each stage is a route with a threshold, a middle and a return, and you always know where you are on it.

Studio and crew

Film-grade production of our own: camera, sound, direction, and editors who have cut documentaries that streamed on Netflix.

Its own social network

A humanist LinkedIn: a professional network for people being formed, not for people job-hunting. No metrics, no engagement games.

Library and film library

The books and the films behind every stage, in one place — plus what to read and what to watch next, from wherever you are.

Events run by the students

Anyone can convene their own gathering, in a room or online, and the rest of the community can walk in.

Your elixir

The notes the platform takes with you in class, gathered into one document you can download whenever you want.

Mentors

Someone who knows what you are reading and notices when you stop.

Measurement

Our own flourishing assessment, built on the published Harvard framework. Before, after, and continuously.

Cinematic, not academic. The classes are shot and edited like film, because that is the difference between a programme people abandon in week three and one they finish over two years.

Rehuman Institute

05 / The foundation

What we believe about a person.

Dignity

The person comes before ideas, politics, interests or categories.

Reason

Human nature can be investigated. The good life is not merely a preference.

Character

Education should not only produce competence. It should help people become better.

Relationships

Friendship, family and belonging are not accessories to a good life. They are it.

Community

Healthy people need healthy communities, and the institutions that carry them.

The common good

Your good and your city’s cannot finally be separated.

Freedom

Essential — but fulfilment is not maximizing choice. It arrives through commitment and self-giving.

Meaning and purpose

What is my life for? What is worth pursuing? What do I owe other people? Prosperity doesn’t answer those.

Transcendence

Openness to what exceeds us. A life measured only by what it produces eventually runs out of reasons.

Truth

We’re not relativists: it exists. We don’t claim to own it, so we look for it together.

Rehuman Institute

06 / Where we stand

We have roots, but not walls.

We are not a conservative, progressive, post-liberal or partisan project. Our genealogy runs through Christian humanism, personalism, classical virtue ethics, natural law and the common-good tradition — but the conversation is deliberately open and non-confessional.

IN DIALOGUE WITH

Natural law & Christian humanism

Human dignity, human nature, reason, virtue and objective human goods.

IN DIALOGUE WITH

Common-good thought

The recovery of community, family, obligation and the critique of excessive individualism.

IN DIALOGUE WITH

Human flourishing & character

The most natural language for this work in contemporary America: character, purpose, institutions, flourishing.

These are sources of dialogue, not ideological boundaries. We are not building an echo chamber of people who already agree.

Rehuman Institute

07 / The architecture

One anthropology. Four mechanisms.

Different purposes and different audiences — but the same understanding of the person underneath all of them.

UNDERSTAND

Rehuman Institute

Anthropology, research, the intellectual network, philanthropy, governance and infrastructure. The roots.

THINK

It’s Time to Think

The youth movement. Rooms in the city where young people meet, argue, build friendships and look for what’s true. Come.

FORM

Thenomba · Rehuman Business

Technology and film-grade audiovisual production that folds humanist formation into a person’s ordinary day — and into a company’s.

CREATE

May 28

A decentralized cultural movement. Agency, belonging, creation — by people who don’t need our permission. Create.

Rehuman gives roots. Thenomba forms people. It’s Time to Think builds community. May 28 unleashes creation.

Rehuman Institute

08 / The institution

A new American institution.

We are constituting a new US 501(c)(3) so that everything we do here operates legally and on its own books — and so that it is led by Americans, with an American vision.

Its own entity

Every project we run in the United States operates under it, in its own name.

American leadership

An American board and American direction. Not a branch office waiting for instructions from Madrid.

Connected, and independent

Full access to our Hispanic network from day one — +200 intellectuals and +40,000 young people. What it builds with them is its own decision.

Two languages, one network

The ambition: the largest Euro-American intellectual network there is, working in English and in Spanish.

Rehuman Institute

09 / Constitution

A 501(c)(3), and what it will hold.

WHAT WE ARE CONSTITUTING

Rehuman Institute — a US 501(c)(3): the non-profit home for research, the intellectual network, philanthropy and community.

American rights to the Thinkglao — the format, the brand and the methodology, to operate across the United States.

American rights to Thenomba’s technology — the platform, the app, the network and the measurement of the leading humanist digital school in the Spanish-speaking world.

A separate commercial entity — for tuition and corporate programmes, so donations, intellectual property and revenue each sit where they belong.

Structure to be finalised with US legal and tax advisers.

POTENTIAL COLLABORATORS

Oxford Character Project

University of Oxford. In conversation about the academic direction of the corporate programme.

Human Flourishing Program

Harvard University. Its published flourishing framework is what our own measurement draws on.

University of Navarra

In conversation as co-convener, with Oxford, of the Humanistic Leadership & Business Initiative.

Institutions we are talking to, and friends of the project. Nothing here is signed yet — and we will not say it is until it is. Board and governance still to be constituted.

It’s Time to Think

Arthur Brooks among our ambassadors, on stage at four Thinkglaos.

The 2026–27 season — 20+ events across Boston, New York and Miami, and one great Thinkglao for 400.

AMBASSADOR

One of the people who best embodies what we are: Arthur Brooks.

Harvard professor, and one of our ambassadors. He has been on stage at four Thinkglaos around the world — and this season he does one with us here.

He writes about happiness the way we run a room: seriously, without a sermon, and with the conviction that a person can become better on purpose.

Thenomba

11 / What it is

FORM · THE PERSON

A humanist school that lives inside your day.

Not a library of courses. A designed journey through the humanities that somebody walks with you, fifteen minutes at a time, for two years — until you know what you’re for.

Story logic

Screen by screen, the way you move through a story on a phone. You always know where you are.

Cut like film

Every class is shot and edited by people who make documentaries. That’s why people finish it.

Someone beside you

A mentor who knows what you’re reading and notices when you stop.

Your elixir

Every note you take, gathered into one document. Two years later, it’s a book only you could have written.

Rehuman Business

13 / Form · the company

The same conviction, inside an organization.

Companies don’t have a skills problem. They have a judgment problem. You cannot install judgment with a workshop — you form the person, and the professional follows.

Eight stages

A structured journey through the faculties an organization actually runs on.

Fifteen minutes

Inside the working day. No offsite, no lost quarter.

Measured

Before and after, aggregated and anonymous. A number you can take to a board.

Oxford

Academic direction from the Oxford Character Project, University of Oxford.

You think. AI multiplies. It multiplies the output of good judgment — and the damage of bad judgment, at exactly the same rate.

CREATE · THE MOVEMENT

May 28

A social movement that ends in the largest festival about human bonds ever staged. Madrid, Paris and New York, May 2028.

87.5%

of young Spaniards report unwanted loneliness in the past year. It is not a minority.

Barómetro Juventud, Salud y Bienestar 2025 · Fad Juventud

What ‘68 broke

Every bond you had not chosen became suspect. Commitment turned optional — and what best delivered a generation with no ties was the market.

What ‘28 rebuilds

The bond as the thing that makes you who you are. Family, friendship, and the communities in between. One declared objective: rebuild community.

Twelve books, and one night.

The Festival

Madrid, Paris and New York, the same night. Thousands of people thinking and dancing about what got built over two years.

The May 28 Collection

Twelve books by twelve first-rank thinkers, published across the two years that lead up to it.

THE ROAD TO 2028

24 Oct 2026

Universidad de Navarra. The CREA Forum.

24–25 Jun 2027

Harvard. Twenty academics, twenty leaders under thirty.

Season 2027–28

The twelve books.

Season 2027–28

300 Thinkglaos across 60 cities.

May 2028

The night itself, in three cities.

THE PILOT · MADRID · 17 JANUARY 2026

We have already done it once.

El Despertar filled the Palacio de Vistalegre in Madrid for a single night about how a generation should live. Novelists, philosophers and essayists from across the Spanish-speaking world shared that stage. We chose not to repeat it in 2027 — and to wait, and do it far better.

The ecosystem

15 / The critical distinction

Opposite directions, on purpose.

IT’S TIME TO THINK · CENTRIPETAL

COME.

Come to a Thinkglao. Come into a community. Meet people. Listen. Disagree. Build relationships. Search for truth.

We build community.

MAY 28 · CENTRIFUGAL

CREATE.

Take these ideas into your profession. Start something. Launch an initiative. Transform an institution. And don’t wait for us.

The community builds things.

Keeping this distinction sharp is what stops the two from ever competing with each other.

Rehuman Institute

16 / Governance by design

Control decreases on purpose.

As you move from the institute outward, our grip loosens and external ownership grows. That is not a weakness in the model. It is the model.

Rehuman Institute — high institutional control. It protects intellectual coherence, governance and resources.

Thenomba & Rehuman Business — high control. Educational proposition, methodology, faculty and experience.

It’s Time to Think — curated decentralization. Local communities have real agency inside a stewarded movement.

May 28 — designed to decentralize. The goal is activity beyond our organizational control.

Rehuman Institute

17 / The plan

What happens, and when.

Sep — Dec 2026

The funding round. Founding donors, institutional partners and the first corporate client.

October 2026

The institution is constituted, and the 501(c)(3) filing begins.

Season 2026–27

15 Thinkglaos across New York, Boston, Miami and Washington DC — an average of 100 young people each.

May 2027

One great Thinkglao: +400 people at the Ángel Orensanz Foundation, New York.

24–25 June 2027

The international forum at Harvard, on dignity, flourishing and rebuilding community.

Jan — Dec 2027

Production of Thenomba in English: the full journey, shot and edited.

26 May 2028

May 28 — New York, Paris and Madrid, the same night.

Rehuman Institute

18 / What we need

What it takes to build it here.

Founding donors

People who become godparents of the institute in America. The 501(c)(3) exists so this is possible.

Institutional partners

Universities, foundations and centres who want to think alongside us, not sponsor us.

An American faculty

Thinkers who want to form a new generation of leaders. Four join when the first corporate client signs.

A pioneer company

The first organization to run Rehuman Business in English, and put its name on the cohort.

Six years built the network in one language. What we’re asking for is the second one.

Rehuman gives roots.

Thenomba forms people. It’s Time to Think builds community. May 28 unleashes creation.

Add it all up and it is one thing: the largest humanist network in the world, thinking in two languages.
