who is
Diego Garrocho
?
Diego Garrocho Salcedo is Associate Professor of Moral Philosophy at the Autonomous University of Madrid, where he serves as Vice Dean for Research of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters. He holds a doctorate with international distinction, trained at the Sorbonne, and has been a visiting researcher at Boston College, MIT and Johns Hopkins University. A columnist for El País and its cultural supplement Babelia, he received the David Gistau Journalism Award in 2021. His field is classical ethics—Aristotle and the passions—and its relevance today; he writes and teaches with rare clarity, able to make a two-thousand-year-old problem feel urgent this very morning. His masterclasses are an invitation to reclaim ethics as a tool for living, not a subject to pass.
